DoubleCheck is operated by Transcom (Design Technology Ltd t/a Transcom), Concorde House, Margaret Street, Brighton BN2 1TS. This policy explains what happens to information when you use it.

No accounts, no tracking. DoubleCheck needs nothing personal to work — you type a website address and we check it. We don't ask who you are and we don't set advertising or tracking cookies.

1What we process

The website address you check — this is the subject of the report, not personal data about you.
Your IP address and the time of the request — held briefly in server logs and used only to keep the service secure and to rate-limit abuse. It is not used to identify or profile you.

2Third-party lookups

To produce a report, the website or IP being checked is queried against public sources. This means the domain or its server address is sent to:

Domain registries / whois servers (registration details and age);
The public DNS system (nameservers, mail servers, addresses);
The checked site itself (to read its HTTPS certificate and page title);
An IP-geolocation service (ipwho.is) for hosting location;
Spam/abuse blocklists (Spamhaus, Barracuda) for reputation.

These lookups concern the site being checked, not you.

3What we don't do

We don't sell or share your information, we don't build profiles, and we don't keep a searchable history of who checked what. Report data is generated on demand and not stored against you.

4Cookies

DoubleCheck uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Any storage is limited to what's strictly needed to run the page.

5Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal data we hold (such as access or erasure of log data). To exercise them, or with any question, contact info@transcom.co.uk. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
