DoubleCheck is a free website-checking tool operated by Transcom (Design Technology Ltd t/a Transcom). By using DoubleCheck you agree to these terms.
DoubleCheck runs automated, public technical checks on a web address you enter — including domain registration (whois), DNS records, the site's HTTPS certificate, hosting and location, email authentication and spam/abuse blocklists — and combines them into a plain-English report and an indicative red / amber / green trust score.
The reports are informational only. They are generated automatically from third-party data that may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. A DoubleCheck report is not a safety certification, not financial, legal or security advice, and not a statement about any person or business. You are solely responsible for any decision you make after reading a report.
We may rate-limit, suspend or withdraw access at any time to protect the service.
Site owners may display the DoubleCheck “Verified” badge, provided it links to that site's genuine live report on doublecheck.uk and is not altered or used to misrepresent a site's status. The badge shows current technical signals only; it is not an endorsement, and we may ask that it be removed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Transcom accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, DoubleCheck or any report it produces. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
